Facebook continues to grow every year since it launched in 2004. It’s still the most used social platform with nearly 2.45 billion monthly active users. Because the platform evolves frequently, these helpful tips should help you stay on top of your Facebook communications, engagement and marketing strategy.
Invite your friends and family to like your page! Your close network is the quickest and easiest way to gain a following. As your following grows, keep in mind it’s better to have a targeted audience that engages than to have a big, broad one that doesn't engage.
If you have an established our growing email list, don't forget to tap in with them every once in a while and remind them to follow your brand/business on Facebook.

Videos are becoming increasingly popular post types, accounting for about 11% of Facebook posts. So if you haven’t thought about how to incorporate an engaging video strategy into your Facebook marketing plan, it’s time to consider it. Between video ads, video posts, stories and live streams, Facebook videos garner up to 8 billion views per day.
Are there blogs or influencers you would love to collaborate with? Create a game plan and reach out to those who are a good fit to your brand / business. With so much accessibility these days, you would be surprised who says yes!
Who doesn't like freebies? Be sure to include rules that boost your pages engagement like 'Like Our Page', 'Comment Below', etc.
Set aside ad $ for an ad campaign and boosts posts that perform well or that you want to be seen. Start with a small budget like $150-$350 to explore what works best.
Don't leave people hanging with they comment on a post, send a direct message and/or mention your brand / business. Be sure to respond in 24 hours to all activities - this is also a good way to monitor and prevent spam.
